New Ownership & Growing!
We’re thrilled to celebrate two milestones this season: five years with Au Train River Canoes & Kayaks and our third year at Riverview Cottages & Resort — and with an expanded private launch! Wally, Khrystal, and their two boys are excited to welcome you back for another season of family-friendly adventure near Pictured Rocks and Munising.
Your kind feedback and support over the years inspired the private launch and helped us keep improving. Our goal remains the same: make planning outdoor fun simple and stress-free so families can focus on memories — paddling, fishing, swimming, waterfalls, and cozy evenings by the fire.
This season feels extra special: our oldest, Willie, will be joining us full-time after graduating high school. We’re proud of him and excited to share the season together.
Thank you for your continued support. We can’t wait to host you again — book early, bring the family, and let us help you make another great summer memory on the Au Train River.
See you soon! Wally, Khrystal & family Au Train River Canoes & Kayaks / Riverview Cottages & Resort

This adventure begins at our private launch (Riverview) and ends at the Doucette Bridge. If you are paddling heavily the whole way without stopping, you could make it there in 2 hours, BUT most people mozy down the river, stop at the beaches along the way, and arrive at the bridge after about 3-4 hours. When you arrive at the Doucette Bridge, you can float around or get out and be on your way to your next adventure. (*A-C on the map)
